Lake Worth crematory could face $10,000 fines for smoke violations

The Florida Department of Health has issued a formal warning notice to a Lake Worth crematory for emitting dark smoke in violation of state emission standards on three separate days last month.

All County Funeral Home and Crematory in Lake Worth could face fines of up to $10,000 for the incidents, which occured July 1, July 16 and July 27.The department was first made aware of the crematory’s smoking problems by The Palm Beach Post, which was alerted by complaints raised by residents on social media.
